BAYFIELD - Sentencing is now set for a Bayfield woman who killed her two year old in a car crash.
Twenty-four year old Chelsea Cadotte recently pleaded guilty to homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, second degree recklessly endangering safety and reckless driving causing bodily harm.
A charge of second degree reckless homicide was dismissed as part of her plea agreement for the crash which happened in July of 2012.
The criminal complaint says she veered off the road and landed in a ditch while she was trying to talk to her daughter in the back seat.
Police say her kids were not buckled up and Cadotte was reminded in the past to keep them buckled up.
She'll be sentenced on February 24th.
