DULUTH - Community members gathered at the Spurs on First bar in downtown Duluth to help raise money for two causes, UMD football player Jordan Baumen and the UMD Dance Team.
The benefit featured a spaghetti feed, entertainmeant and a silent auction, with all proceeds split between the two causes.
"It's cool to have people from the community, people at the university, it just shows that they really care and it's nice knowing in a big town like this people are willing to help out," said Baumen.
Baumen was diagnosed this year with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This is the second time he has had this type of cancer.
