DULUTH - Young people are taking charge of their health this new year.
Students at Holy Rosary School jumped around to release energy at their 'Healthy Jump Start' assembly to support a happy, healthy, and holy learning environment.
The assembly also featured presenters who focused on topics that encourage good health habits.
"Our kids can definitely do it. They're excited about doing it and if they establish habits now, it's habits that will last their lifetime," said Jesse Murray, the school's principal.
Students also enjoyed a special meal that meets government objectives from Choose My Plate.
