SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding the people responsible for breaking several windows of a Superior Township church.
The lead pastor of the Darrow Road Wesleyan Church says when he came to open the church last Sunday morning, he found several of the windows broken in the front of the church.
Pastor Mark Holmes said, "any kind of act like this against a church, hurts. People weren't happy about that. But we forgave the people, we don't know who they are and we're a lot more concerned about their situation. Why they would do something like that?"
The church says its insurance company has covered the windows, so it does not need donations.
The church just hopes the individuals who did it won't continue the behavior.
