CABLE, WI - Cable's Telemark Resort has gone into foreclosure and will be closed indefinitely.
The Cable Area Chamber of Commerce told FOX 21 Wednesday employees found out about the impending closure after picking up their final paychecks last week.
They got a letter which cited an inability to reach an agreement over new ownership for the resort.
"Last week, first they indicated they were closing indefinitely then changed the tune a little bit, to be closed for spring cleaning. And now, it looks like back to the original statement which leaves a lot of uncertainty and question," said James Bolen, executive director of the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce.
Officials say resort management will meet with the owners this weekend to talk about Telemark's future.
