DULUTH - Starting Monday, a nonprofit is taking applications to help locals put Christmas presents under the tree.
The Salvation Army will be taking applications for their Toyland Express program which provides families with a Christmas dinner and toys for kids up to 16-years-old.
Starting next week, you can also donate toys to the program.
"It's very important because without Toyland Express and the public donating those toys, the children that apply will probably not get toys if we don't get the toys coming through the door," said Nancy Leslie, program supervisor for the Salvation Army's emergency services program.
The Salvation Army will take applications from Nov. 4-27 from 1-4 p.m, Monday through Friday.
