Two Men Sentenced for Racially Motivated Iron Range Assault

VIRGINIA - Two of the three men involved in a racially motivated assault were sentenced Wednesday.Twenty-three year old Lee Randall of Aurora was sentenced to two years of probation and 12 days in jail for fourth degree assault.
If he fails to serve his probation he'll have to spend 353 days in prison.
A second suspect, 23 year old Chad Stevens of Mountain Iron, was also sentenced for fourth degree assault.
He'll have to spend 45 days in jail and serve two years of probation.
If he doesn't successfully complete the probation he'll have to serve 320 days in prison.
A third suspect was sentenced for the same crime in February.
The criminal complaint says the men verbally harassed a Virginia couple by shouting the n-word numerous times before physically assaulting them.
