DULUTH - University of Minnesota Duluth homecoming week kicked off Tuesday by hosting their first-ever corn roast.
Campus organizations handed out free grilled ears of corn to hungry bulldog fans -- all in the spirit of homecoming.
“It was really easy to do,” expressed Kirby student traditions manager Amanda Taylor. “We just ordered the corn and fired up the grill and we got a lot of workers.”
Students are also gearing up for the first ever homecoming parade on superior street Thursday afternoon.
Bulldog football takes on St. Cloud State Saturday afternoon.
