DULUTH - Spring was in full bloom at UMD Wednesday as the school's annual Market Day kicked off with a variety of vendors despite the rainy weather.
The market is sponsored by UMS and the Lake Superior Sustainable Farming Association.
It has your typical farmer's market items, plus a lot more.
"This market is special because we have a lot of arts and crafts, people who also sell at the market and there's some service people that come and do massages, so it's a very varied market. We also have music every week starting on June 12," said Gaelynn Lea, UMD's market manager.
The UMD market runs until September, and is held every Wednesday afternoon at UMD's Kirby plaza.
