DULUTH - Before walking down an isle and putting a ring on that finger, it might take a little bit of planning.

That's why the Twin Ports hosted its Zenith City Indie Wedding Show, an event that drew in couples from across the Northland to help them plan the wedding of their dreams.

But it was not an ordinary expo.

Vendors highlighted some off-beat, out-of-the-box ideas.

“We definitely have high quality vendors here, again they're going to be a little bit out of the ordinary. They're going to be catered to those who want something a bit different,” Jen Hayes, an organizer, said.

The expo at Clyde Iron Works included a runway show, entertainment, performances and interactive booths and presentations.
