ASHLAND - A building in the City of Ashland now has historical status.
The Wilmarth Mansion off of Chapple Ave. was added to the National Register of Historic Places in late January.
The mansion was originally built back in the 1880's.
The building has had several different uses over the years but is currently sitting vacant.
A new developer, however, has been working on restoring it.
