DULUTH - Our friend and former FOX 21 meteorologist, Chris Snider, celebrated his 29th birthday Tuesday as best as he could.

As many of our viewers know, Chris has been battling an aggressive form of bone cancer.

Doctors did not expect him to live as long as he has, so this birthday is a very special one for his family.

But Chris' sister, Tabatha, said Tuesday that the unfortunate reality is that his body is now quickly shutting down.

She and Chris thank everyone for their prayers and many well-wishes on Facebook.
