SUPERIOR - City leaders in Superior are gearing up for their biggest lobbying effort of the year. They're heading down to Madison for the start of the 28th annual Superior Days Tuesday.
It's a community based effort to bring issues of importance to Northwestern Wisconsin to the attention of state legislators.
Some of the key topics they'll be discussing are mining legislation, the Highway 2 expansion plan and study, relocating state jobs to the northern part of the state, and the development of a Lake Superior Technology Park.
Hundreds will make the trip for the lobbying effort which lasts through Wednesday.
