DULUTH - More than 950 people raised thousands of dollars after plunging into the largest fresh water lake in the world.
Officials said Duluth has raised more than $170,000 dollars so far for the Special Olympics after hundreds of brave souls jumped into the icy lake.
They estimate the numbers will reach $190,000 after everything is accounted for, which would be $20,000 more than last year.
So far Minnesota raised nearly $1.6 million for the organization.
