SUPERIOR - It was a fruitful day Saturday, at the Open-Air Farmer's Market in Superior.
The late winter made for late crops, but now they are in full bloom!
“Everything is locally produced. Fresh, you know the farmer, when you’re purchasing food. And we have just a huge amount of and a cornucopia of products today. Melons, cucumbers, and everything is coming in with this hot weather and the rain. It’s been a wonderful, wonderful market,” David Dumke, a vendor, said.
The farmer’s market on Barker’s Island is held every Saturday through October.
