TWO HARBORS - Lake Connections showcased their newly remodeled building that houses a fiber optic network in Two Harbors and Silver Bay Wednesday.
Nearly 20,000 residents now have access to high speed broadband services which include internet, digital television and phone.
"It's great. It's a huge opportunity for all these folks that live in this area,” Lake Connections project manager Jeff Roiland said. “The whole northeast area is going to have services that probably would only be typical in the large metropolitan areas."
These broadband services will be available in the Duluth Township and on the Iron Range by 2015.
