PROCTOR, Minn. - The motorized chair, seized after a drunk–driving accident, is now back on eBay.  Previously pulled over a trademark dispute, the reposting may cost the City of Proctor a lot of money.

"We have to start all over," says Proctor Police Chief, Walter Wobig.

Listed as a motorized 'La–Z–Boy,' the lawnmower engine–chair on wheels was selling for more than $43,000.  The 'La–Z–Boy' company complained to Wobig, who changed the title.

"He agreed that we could keep it up and running," says Wobig.

But, someone forgot to tell that to eBay.

"They just pulled it," says Wobig.

Though now re–listed, it's bidding at under $7,000 dollars.

"If I do not get up to the $43,5000, yes, the city/taxpayers have lost a lot of money.

The chair itself is not street–legal.  But, there are a few bells and whistles that may make you think otherwise.  Including, working headlights.  A six–speed gear shift.  A racing wheel with a nitrous–oxide button connected to the nitrous–oxide tank on the bank.  That's for show only.

But, it wasn't a show when 61 year old Denny Anderson crashed into a parked car in August of last year.  His blood–alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit.  He plead guilty to driving while intoxicated.  Police confiscated the chair.  Now, they just want to get rid of it.

"I'm not smiling because i'm happy we took the vehicle," says Wobig.  I'm smiling just to say, "this is really getting to me."

The customized seat cushion for the chair is gone.  Not on the chair at the time of the accident, it is selling in a separate eBay auction by the family of Denny Anderson.  Proceeds from the seat cushion sale will go to his legal fees.

Also recently sold, an autographed picture of Anderson on his chair for $710.
