SIREN, Wis. - One person was killed and three people were arrested Thursday morning as a result of a snowmobile accident in Burnett County.
The accident occurred north of State Highway 70 on Krueger Road in Meenon Township around 12:45 a.m.
A 41-year-old male, who was operating the snowmobile, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Deputy Medical Examiner. The victim's name has not been released.
Three people were arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. The arrested individuals are Tami Boese, 37, of Owatonna, Travis DeMarre, 24, of Webster and Jason Pierce, 27, of Siren.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources continues to investigate the crash.
