Race fans have been revving up their engines for the 10th annual Kia of Duluth Drag Race and Car Show.
Four classes of cars will hit Garfield Avenue for the only event of its kind in the entire United States.
Racers will compete head-to-head beginning on Saturday and elimination rounds start on Sunday.
"If you've never been to drag racing and you've only seen it on tv, you really haven't seen anything until you're at the venue and you're don here on Garfield and you see the engines, you hear the engines and how loud they are, the smoke coming off the tires. It is a wonderful environment," said Ryan Kern, president of Kern and Kompany.
The races saw a record attendance last year and hope to top that this year.
Over 300 cars combined will be a part of the races and the show.
