DULUTH, Minn. -

The iconic Bentleyville Christmas tree went up today in Bayfront Park. Crews worked for about four hours to construct the 128 foot tall LED tree, the largest of its kind in the nation.

This year, it's getting new lights. Over 150,000 will be used to light the tree.

"The Bentleyville tree has certainly become an icon for the city of Duluth. This will be the seventh consecutive year it will be down here at Bayfront Park," says Bentleyville Executive Director Nathan Bentley.

Bentleyville will be open November 19th - December 26th in Bayfront Park.
