DULUTH, Minn. -

Thousands turned out for The 32nd Annual Fall Fest.

More than 120 Vendors carrying local products lined Chester Park for the annual celebration. The family friendly event featured live music, food, face painting, and fun for kids, like bouncy houses. Door donations went to Chester winter program scholarships so that kids in need can have the chance to ski this coming winter season.

"Duluth Winters can be long and bleak if you don’t have something to look forward to, and skiing and snowboarding is that thing for people, but some families are just limited by income, it is one of the more expensive sports to participate in, so by guaranteeing that anyone who needs a scholarship can get one, we make sure that any family can ski or snowboard if they would like to," said Dave Schaeffer, the Executive Director of Chester Bowl.

Last year the event raises around 7 thousand dollars.
