DULUTH, Minn. -

Duluth community members come together to show that they stand behind our heroes, and to shine a positive light on Police officers.

It’s a free family friendly activity where community members have a chance to interact with police officers, and show their support and gratitude. The event goes on from seven thirty to ten thirty each night until Saturday.

"People view officers.. a lot of times they’re misunderstood but they’re people just like us, they’re husbands, wives, children. They can see the personal side of officers as well," said Brooke Leclaire, the organizer of the event.

The officers will be on the south street footbridge between 16th and 17th Avenue East in Duluth.
