DULUTH, Minn. -

Tuesday night the DRCC celebrated its 50th anniversary and as the organization celebrates the past, they will need help for the future.

The DRCC is a non-profit organization providing housing and support services to people with developmental disabilities.

Those in attendance at the celebration looked back at how much the DRCC has grown but there is still work to be done.

"One of the challenges we have is finding staff who want to work in the field and stay. We struggle with the funding from the state of Minnesota that's who we rely on for our funding and it's been tight times," said Executive Director, Michael Mills.
