Hundreds of breast cancer survivors, caregivers, and volunteers walked to help end breast cancer.

The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a walk that raises funds and awareness to fight breast cancer. Participants dressed in pink to walk the 3 miles for the event.

"We all have a cancer connection, breast cancer is a real, something that touches many people, I for example, my mom was a breast cancer survivor," said Melissa Kadlec, the Senior Market Manager of the American Cancer Society.

According to the American Cancer Society, Around 246 thousand women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
