DULUTH, Minn. -

Miners Incorporated held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly expanded distribution center facility.

The expanded and remodeled 200,000 square foot facility serves 29 grocery store locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.

The facility ships 53 full semi-truck loads to its grocery store locations, delivering over 91 million pounds of food each year.

Patrick Miner, the Store Director, said "They are excited to serve in these new facilities and we are upgrading where our customers are demanding new things."

Officials hope this new facility will provide future growth in the grocery business.
