DULUTH, Minn. -

Veterans had the chance to get information and learn about resources that could help them, at an event at the DECC.

The Annual Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans Stand Down has been going on for almost 20 years. The event brings services together in one place for Veterans.

Almost 60 vendors were at the event, ready to reach out to veterans who might need help.  Some of the vendors included The Salvation Army, Veterans center, and horses for heroes.

MAC V is a non profit organization that has been helping Minnesota Veterans since 1990.

Mac V will hold more Stand Downs in Bemidji and Grand rapids at the end of September.
