SUPERIOR, WIS. -

It's been over two-years since Superior added Marik,a german shepherd to the force. Since then he's been working hard to keep the streets of Superior clean.

This week Marik sniffed out at least 228 grams of meth and put away four people in a matter of two days. These just being a couple examples of him pulling his weight.

"There's things that Marik can do that us human officers can't. Obviously, I cant sniff the outside of a car and tell you if there's substances inside, if we are trying to track a suspect i can't sniff the ground," said K-9 Officer Nick Eastman.

Marik works with Eastman and trains with him about once a month. On Monday they trained at Dukes Towing, where Marik located hidden officers in cars.
