SUPERIOR, Wis. -

Time Arc Theatre and Twin Ports Stage are working together to present “The WWII Live USO Variety and Canteen Show.”

The United States of America was attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. President Roosevelt declared war and also started the USO.

The USO was founded to entertain troops and give them a taste of home while they are overseas.

The show put on this weekend honors that history.

Music, dance and comedy, Randy Lee and Ensemble will set the stage with 1940s swing music as Bob Hope and friends perform a live radio-format show.

This year, the performance is at a new location, the Elks Club at 1503 Belknap.

There will be two performances. The first is Saturday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets to the show are $15.00 and available at Art on the Planet, 1413 Tower Avenue (the former Dunbar Building), where cash or checks only are accepted.

Online pre-sale tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets and reservations can be made by calling 715-392-1742.

Cash, check & credit cards will be accepted at the door before the performances.
