October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and CASDA has been hosting many events throughout the Northland to let folks know about the issue.

Next week, a public discussion is being held at UW-Superior called Love and Bruises: Lessons from Domestic and Dating Violence.

It's being put on by UWS and CASDA to talk about what can sometimes be a taboo subject.

This is taking place Wednesday, October 26 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.

This event is free. There will be refreshments, a TED-style talk and a panel discussion.

You can find out more information at the UWS website.
