DULUTH, Minn. -

There are new details emerging about the young man whose body was found in the Duluth Depot’s rail yard early Friday.

Zakayo Magomolla, 24, of Duluth was a graduate of Duluth East High School and the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Friends say he was an accomplished athlete and very talented with music.

The cause of death remained under investigation Sunday night, with autopsy results expected as early as Monday, according to the Duluth police.

Magomolla’s body was found around 8 a.m. Friday near 5th Avenue West and Michigan Street, which is by the Duluth Depot.

However, sources close to the incident tell FOX 21 the body was actually found outside in the rail road museum’s fenced in rail yard by workers getting ready for an early morning train excursion.

As of Sunday, Duluth police had not ruled if the death was accidental or suspicious.
