HIBBING, Minn. -

Hundreds of car lovers are in Hibbing for the Annual Labor Day Shootout.

The event draws people from all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, and even Canada, and has been going on for 38 years.  It’s held at the Hibbing Raceway, and features different divisions of racing, like late models, modifieds, and super stocks.

"Racing here has always been big, and with the labor day shootout, it’s kind of a kick off for the invitation series that last for about a month long," said Kristy Cappo, Treasurer at Hibbing Raceway.

The 2 day event started on Saturday, and ended Sunday.
