SUPERIOR, Wis. -

Step by step, history will come alive on Saturday in Superior.

The Douglas County Living History Walk held their final dress rehearsal before the big show.

Actors and actresses will dress in period costumes and represent historical characters from the Twin Ports.

"I think it's kind of a way to appreciate the past and the history of the Twin Ports area. A lot of times it kind of gets lost. You hear when you're doing classes in school and everything you hear about the big picture. People forget about the little people that are from Superior even though they did amazing things," said director Jake Spartz.

Tickets will be available at the gates of the Greenwood Cemetery  from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Proceeds go back to the historical society.
