EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. -

On Monday, September 5 at around 2:30 a.m., Wisconsin State patrol troopers attempted to stop three vehicles from a gas drive-off in Eau Claire.

The vehicles pulled onto the I-94 Menomonie westbound rest area and continued at speeds upt o 110 mph without stopping.

Troopers pursued a 2015 Buick Enclave that was reportedly stolen. In addition, two Honda Accords that were also suspected in the drive-offs fled the scene.

The Buick was stopped after running over a tire deflation device near Baldwin, Wisconsin. A 16-year-old male from Minneosta was taken into custody.

One of the Honda's was also observed in the ensuing traffic back up and an 18-year-old male from Minnesota was also taken into custody.

The remaining Honda Accord and its driver remains at large.

Charges of operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent, felony fleeing, and reckless driving are pending for both suspects.

The male adult is currently lodged in the St. Croix County jail and the juvenile is being held in a secure detention facility.

The names are being withheld at this time pending further investigation.
