Gas Prices have made it below the dollar ninety per gallon range in the Northland, in time for the holiday season.

The AAA projects that around 48 Million people will be hitting the roads and traveling 50 miles or more, this Thanksgiving.  That will be around a 1.9 percent increase compared to 2015, and the most thanksgiving travelers since 2007.

"A couple years ago it was almost 5 dollars a gallon, so it’s a big decrease and everybody is very happy about it," said Tana Macartney, store manager at London Road Car Wash.

Gas prices are currently the second cheapest, in the last decade.
