DULUTH, Minn. -

Students are back to hitting the books at Lake Superior College, as the fall semester begins.

The campus is welcoming over 4,000 students to campus this fall. That's a 7% increase in freshman enrollment from last year.

With all the new and former students back on campus LSC has become one busy place.

Michael Seymour, Vice President of Student Affairs says, "People are complaining about parking, so as long as people are complaining about parking lots, the enrollment usually is pretty good, so that's a good problem to have."

The 2016 fall semester runs August 22nd through December 17th.
