DULUTH, Minn. -

This Wednesday, City of Duluth officials will hold an event to kick off the new Duluth comprehensive plan, 2035 Imagine Duluth.

The new plan creates growth in housing, economic development, open spaces and transportation.

City officials hope that this new plan will create a greater Duluth area and bring the community together by creating goals and taking recommendations to maintain and enhance the City's quality of life.

The event will take place from 4:45pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday at Denfeld High School and they are hoping for a big turnout

Keith Hamre, the Director of Planning and Construction Services, said "When you think about planning and where we have been, places like Skyline and Canal Park, we are really looking for people to come and dream big."

A chili dinner will be served and there will be firetrucks and mounted patrol.
