PROCTOR, Minn. -

The Proctor historical society held their history walk. It's a way to not only exercise, but learn more about the significance of this railroad town.

While the very first walk was guided, many are encouraged to discover the history of Proctor on their own.

"I think just like with people, cities really need to take into account what their history and backstory is cause that's really what sets them up for the future," said founder Russell Habermann.

The walk includes signs along the route and there are also maps online to guide walkers along the way.
