DULUTH, Minn. -

It’s Active Aging Week, and YMCA in Superior is teaming up with Essentia Health to promote healthy activities for seniors.

Fun exercising activities include Zumba, Tai chi, and yoga classes, and today there was even a flu shot clinic at the YMCA. Besides exercise classes, seminars that teach the importance of health care directives and fall prevention will also be held.

"It’s geared towards those who are retired or 55 and older, but of course we are all aging so anyone can participate," said Cathi Austin, the Health Enhancement Coordinator at the YMCA in Superior.

The activities are free and open to the public, and will take place through Friday.
