DULUTH, Minn. -

The Spiders are Leaving Lake Superior Zoo.

Sunday will be the last day of the Tarantulas: Live and Up Close Exhibit. The exhibit came to the Lake Superior Zoo in June, and included 20 tarantula species from around the world. The exhibit offered visitors an opportunity to look at some of the world’s biggest spider species, and learn about them.

"The more people know about spiders and know about tarantulas, those that are afraid of them might be more willing to at least come and take a look at them and maybe be less afraid of them," said Julene Boe, the Interim CEO at Lake Superior Zoo.

Zoo admissions are ten dollars for adults and 5 dollars for children ages 3 to 12.
