Today, the Northland campus of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge received $14,000.

Stevie and Sandy Paulson along with a core group of volunteers have organized and grown the Breezy Point 5k year after year.

They hosted 310 participants this year and allow individuals to walk, bike or run.

All of the proceeds from that event went to the men and women in the life renewal program at the Adult and Teen Challenge.

Seth Currier, the Center Director, said "It has been such a wonderful opportunity to partner together and the money has gone to help men and women become free from chemical addiction."

They plan to host another 5k this year and will donate the proceeds from that event as well.
