DULUTH - If you're planning on traveling anywhere in the Midwest from Christmas Eve into Christmas Day, watch out - a major winter storm is forecast to bring heavy snow and strong winds to parts of the region.
"Although there is still uncertainty regarding the eventual track of this system, it does appear that accumulating snow and strong wind is becoming more likely across parts of the Northland late in the week," the National Weather Service in Duluth reported this morning.
The storm is forecast to cover a large swath of the Midwest with wintry precipitation.
FOX 21 chief meteorologist Chris Snider will have an updated forecast tonight on FOX 21 News at Nine, and at www.fox21online.com.
