DULUTH - There was a true angel in the sky Friday after learning our FOX 21 family member and former chief meteorologist, Chris Snider, had passed away.
Chris had been battling a rare form of bone cancer known as osteosarcoma. His sister, Tabatha, says Chris died in her Floodwood home early Friday morning.
She said Chris "fought a long battle with grace, humor, compassion and absolute dignity."
The Snider family would like to thank everyone for their support.
Funeral arrangement will be announced when they are finalized.
Chris Snider was 29 years old and celebrated his birthday on Tuesday.
