NEAR ASHLAND - It was science in action.  Drummond 8th graders tested rockets they built themselves in a hands on science experiment.

Students had to put together a rocket as part of an astronomy unit.

Students cheered as the rockets launched in a field.  Then, they timed how long the rockets were in the air and calculated their angles.
