Duluth Man Arrested After Alleged Robbery

DULUTH - Police arrested a man for robbing a Cost Cutters at 215 North Central Avenue on Saturday. Duluth Police reported 45-year-old Daniel Monroe asked to use the building's bathroom and came out wearing a ski mask. He held a knife as he told employees "don't act like a hero and give me all of your money." Given an undisclosed amount of money, he left on foot. Officers spotted him later driving in Gary New Duluth. Monroe was taken into custody and is pending charges for 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery.
