DULUTH - A dog that made quite the journey to the Northland was finally on his way back home Wednesday.Endo was found in Superior, nearly two years after he went missing from his home in Florida. After being taken into several homes, Animal Allies eventually found a chip in Endo and traced him back to his family who were more than surprised to get the call. "It was something like ‘get the heck out of here,' they were absolutely stunned," Betsy Bode from Animal Allies of Superior said. "Endo, when he got out he was with their lab and unfortunately their lab was seen by their neighbor getting attacked by a gator and they unfortunately assumed the worst for poor Endo." People at Animal Allies said Endo had been in good care over the past couple of years. His family in Florida hopes he re–adjusts well.
