Duluth, MN, USA -
DULUTH - More than a dozen cats that are part of two hoarding cases have left a Northland shelter filled to capacity. Animal Allies is looking for homes for nearly 15 cats. Officials say they were hoarded in Duluth and Hermantown. That leaves the humane society with nearly 75 cats, all looking to be adopted. John Gustafson, of Animal Allies said, "Ideally we'd like to be about 40 or 50. It makes it more manageable, healthier for the animals and so we'd like to move a few through and invite people to come up and have a chance to experience love at first sight." Animal Allies has reduced the adoption fee to $5. Regular adoption rates can range from $25 to $75.
