VIRGINIA, Minn. -
Virginia's embattled police chief officially parted ways with the city Friday – for good. Dana Waldron told FOX 21 News his last day is May 25.Waldron and the city negotiated a severance package Friday addressing quote "loose ends and conflicts" during his tenure.Details of the agreement include $25,000 in retirement benefits and $130,000 as a release of any claims against the city. The severance package is more than double the $60,000 the city first offered Waldron to leave. You'll recall, Waldron fought successfully to keep his job after allegations of harassment and bullying by officers more than a year ago.
