We've got a bit of a warm-up on the way, Friday. A warm front will be pushing its way through the Northland, and the warm air behind it will help us climb into the upper 70's to mid 80's across the Northland! We'll have that warmth accompanied by a bit of sunshine, especially south of a line from Hibbing to Silver Bay, with chances at isolated showers and thunderstorms to the north. Our winds will still be out of the south and in the teens to twenties, so be careful if you're planning on taking that kite out! The evening will only drop us into the upper 50's to low 60's thanks to a surge of moisture behind the warm front. That moisture will help us tip off some showers and thunderstorms on Saturday..
Wet Weather Watch:
The showers and thunderstorms on Saturday will start in the afternoon and will linger into Sunday as a cold front slides across the Northland. After that we can look forward to skies clearing Sunday evening followed by sunny skies to start the week!
Thanks for logging on and have a great day!
