Willingham out of Today's Twins Game

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Minnesota Twins outfielder Josh Willingham is out of the lineup against the Detroit Tigers after receiving a cortisone shot in his balky left knee.

The slugger had the shot after Saturday's game, with the Twins scheduled for an off day Monday.

Twins Reinstate Plouffe, Send Down Herrmann

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The Minnesota Twins have reinstated third baseman Trevor Plouffe from the disabled list.

The move was made after Friday night's 4-0 loss to Detroit.

Plouffe has missed the last 22 games, first because of a concussion and then due to a strained left calf muscle.

MINNEAPOLIS - After a succesful hockey season, Drew LeBlanc took his turn on the baseball diamond at Target Field.
LeBlanc was honored by the Minnesota Twins Wednesday for winning the Hobey Baker Award, and leading St. Cloud State to the Frozen Four.
