2010 Fall Coaches Announced For Duluth High Schools
DULUTH _ Duluth Public Schools announced their head coaches for Fall Sports Season Friday afternoon, and eliminating one local high school means at least one coach becomes the odd one out. Assistant Superintendent Joe Hill called the process very competitive across the board, but especially in the areas of soccer and football.
Frank Huie, the reigning North Country Conference Coach of the Year, wound up on the outside looking in when it came to football coaching jobs, as do two girls’ soccer coaches, Jenni Tharaldson (Central) and Cara Overland (East).
Denfeld’s track and field coach, Joel Holman, moves to cross country where he’ll coach the boys and girls for the combination Central/Denfeld school.
